This site is designed to help you find the right transport consultant from within our unique network of UK-based specialists. Between them, the members of Transport Associates' Network command unrivalled knowledge and experience of:

• The planning, design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of transport infrastructure;
• The development and implementation of transport policy across all modes; and
• The dissemination of the results of transport projects and activities.

TAN members have been professional colleagues in local and central government, private consultancies and academia, and as such have known and worked with each other for many years. They have held posts, and carried out assignments for:

• Public- and private-sector clients worldwide;
• The European Commission (notably through projects co-funded under the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Research and Technological Development Frameworks);
• European organisations eg POLIS (the Euro-continent-wide network of cities and regions); and
• UK Government departments and agencies (eg the Highways Agency).

TAN enables individual members of the network to draw quickly and effectively on the knowledge and experience of other members, so extending the range of skills they can offer clients. TAN members can provide clients with a mixed, multi-skilled team and a nominated leader.

Network members are available to provide consulting services as individuals or as a team on a flexible basis to suit clients, but TAN does not participate in projects as an organisation. Where TAN members provide a team, there will always be a single point of responsibility and contact for the client.
